he College of Agriculture (Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth), established in 1908, was initially started as a branch for teaching agriculture in the College of Science at Pune in 1879. This century old college flourishes through education program as well as research. It was thanks to the appeal of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule to the British government that such an institution grew. Come, be a part of this unique visit to learn everything from agronomy to agriculture, engineering or horticulture to the history of the college  and the various type of agriculture!

Visit to Deccan College Archaeology Museum
Heritage WalkThe Deccan College Archaeology Museum (DCAM) was conceptualized and started for the Masters and PhD students of the University with the collection of artifacts by eminent archaeologist Padma Bhushan H.D. Sankalia and Research Scholars from 1939 onwards. Join us on this walk from the Prehistoric to Medieval times through various galleries of the Stone Age, Sculpture, Epigraphy and Numismatics and the likes.

Join us for this tour of the NFAI where you will get a look at how films are archived, stored, played and many historical insights into cinema. The special feature is a film screening of “Dadasahbe Phalke compilation” (20 mins) and Old Film Poster Exhibition

Screening of the award winning movie Tiger -The Death Chronicle By Krishnendu Bose

Tiger – the death chronicles, in 63 minutes, encapsulates 30 years of conservation attitude in this country. For the first time ever, a film joins diverse voices, from tiger scientists and conservationists to ordinary citizens, to attempt a brutal and an honest assessment of the present and the future of the Indian tiger and it’s habitat. The film is presented and directed by Krishnendu Bose, an internationally awarded film-maker, who has been making conservation films for the past 20 years.
